“Santarosa is an audiovisual work based on the remix of an amateur video filmed by two american tourists in Savigliano. The original footage, uploaded to YouTube in 2010, shows the historic city center while they ironically debate the pronunciation of the town’s name. Through the re-editing of images and sound, Santarosa completely reworks the material. The result is a new audiovisual experience, independent from its original source.”
