“EX.NO NOVO explores the relationship between the past and the present of an old sugar factory, neglected and abandoned to the flow of time, although still a city landmark. Through the desolation behind the gate, some traces of past human presence can be found, echoing the life and frenzy of people and machines in the working factory. The sound of the past, together with the images of the present lead to a melancholic tale of situations linked to the sugar factory imaginary.”
